Overview University of Tehran Informatics Center (UTIC) was founded in 1966 as one of the first computer centers of Iran. The main responsibility of this center was to provide computing services to the university using mainframes. At present the main missions of UTIC are: 1- Providing a robust, reliable and secure information technology infrastructure for the UT 2- Providing a variety of computing and networking services to the entire university 3- Provide leadership in planning for the effective use of IT in the university
